Velvera Register runs an online shop selling garden sprinklers and irrigation fittings. This page sets out the personal information involved in that, and how it is handled.
The data collected
The information involved in a purchase here is:
- The name and address the parcel goes to, plus a phone number and email for updates
- What you ordered, when, and the amount — but never your banking credentials
- Support messages and the replies to them
- Basic technical data from your visit — browser type, approximate location, pages viewed
Why we need it
To pack and deliver your order, to answer you when you write in, to deal with returns and refunds, and to keep the records a business is obliged to keep.
Personal data is not a product here. We neither sell it nor share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Who we share with
The courier gets your name, address and phone number, because it cannot deliver without them. Nobody else receives your details except where the law requires it.
Cookies on this site
We set cookies that make the shopping basket and checkout function. Your browser can refuse them, at the cost of being unable to order.
Retention
We hold order data for the period business records must legally be retained. General correspondence is deleted once it has served its purpose.
Safeguards
We use an encrypted connection and restrict access to order information. The less that is stored, the less there is to lose.
Your rights
Email hello@velveraregister.shop to access, correct or delete your information. We deal with such requests within Monday - Saturday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM IST. Closed on Sundays and public holidays.
Our handling of personal data follows the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the associated Reasonable Security Practices rules.
This shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and any such data found is deleted.
Updates
Any change is published on this page. Continuing to use the site after that counts as acceptance of the revised version.

Payment details
A UPI transfer is authorised inside your own app. All that reaches us is a reference number and a success or failure flag. Cash on Delivery involves no electronic payment data at all.
If your details change
Details can be corrected while an order is still being packed. Email hello@velveraregister.shop as soon as something changes.

External sites reached from here operate under their own rules. Please read their policies; we cannot control them.
Profiling
We do not profile customers or make automated decisions that affect them. Every return is judged by someone who has the goods in hand.
If you are not satisfied
Send grievances to hello@velveraregister.shop. They are acknowledged within Monday - Saturday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM IST. Closed on Sundays and public holidays. and answered in writing. Nothing in this policy takes away your right to complain to a statutory authority.
Lawful basis
We rely on the order itself. You give an address so that a parcel can reach it, and that is the limit of what the information is used for.
A deletion request removes everything we are free to remove. Statutory records stay, and we explain what is retained.
